About me

Hello — I'm Yasmin

MBACP · Relate-Trained Couples Counsellor · Pronouns: she/her. An experienced MBACP counsellor and Relate-trained couples therapist — with a particular interest in relationship difficulties, and in working with individuals and couples.

Soft still life: open journal, beeswax candle and dried lavender

Ten years of practice as a Relate-trained couples counsellor, and many more years walking alongside people through grief, anxiety and life’s harder seasons.

I work in a person-centred way and in collaboration with my clients — helping you find your own way to improve your relationships and your sense of self. When people feel heard and respected, change becomes possible.

I work with individuals and couples on a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, bereavement and relationship difficulties. I also work with couples where one partner may be on the Autistic Spectrum, whether diagnosed or not.

Alongside private practice, I have five years of experience counselling in a GP surgery and seven years working with Cruse Bereavement Care — experience that informs the steady, compassionate space I offer in every session.

Counselling is an opportunity to talk through your concerns, explore your issues, resolve them, and find a way forwards.
